What is the best colour cat to have?
In order to reduce the chance of it being stolen or run over.
I would say not a siamese or a black cat which cars would not see at night.
Maybe get a white cat or fit the cat with a reflective high vis jacket.
Do not like shutting a cat inside so it needs to be an outdoor cat.
Well yes you are right about the black cat not being seen in the dark. I think you should get a white one or a white and black one or anything with some white in it. If you would prefer a dark coloured one you could let it be an outdoor cat but not let it out at night. I have two cats one is deaf so he stays inside as he would not be able to hear cars coming and the other black she was an outdoor cat until me moved about two months ago she didn’t dare go outside we are happy with this as we don’t want her to run away or get lost.
